My Mother’s Ring Poem by Felix Lugo

My Mother’s Ring

Mother’s ring was very important to me.
It slipped out of my finger getting lost for eternity.
I wanted to get another, but I realized
I have also lost a mother along with the ring.
Tears came down, as I stood next to a box on one knee.
My house became a mess, with my bloody knuckles.
It made an internal bleeding in my heart.
