My Music Angel - Poem by Ruark Brumbaugh

There's music in her wings
And rhythm in her soul
The drum sounds of her heartbeat
Feels like thunder, when it rolls
And when she whispers my name
It sounds different then before
I cry every time when she passes
Through these walls

And the floor makes harp sounds, when she walks
And the wind sounds like a piccolo, when she talks
Oh, my body feels the peace-every time she brings release
And I ask her all the time, 'Don't make it stop'

'Cause I'm in pain when your gone
I feel alone and confused of it all
And when your near me, I feel strong
So, please stay with me
My Music Angel
