My, Myself, And I Poem by Hannah Shier

My, Myself, And I

I
just
wanna
be myself.
Regardless of what
people are thinking. Because it
doesn't matter what people are thinking - only what
you're thinking. They don't control you. They don't dictate you, rule over you - their voice doesn't
matter for you: only yours does. So stand up, stand tall, stand strong - no matter what. Don't listen to the naggers, the downers, the pessimistics,
the terrors - listen to your voice and only your voice 'cause that's all that matters. You were given a voice; so use it. You were given a body; so use it. You were given a heart; so use it. You were given a mind; so use it.
