My New Kitty - Poem by Lauretta P. Burns

My Grandma is mad at me,
She took off all my clothes.
She stood me naked in the yard
She scrubbed me down with her Lye soap,
sprayed me with the hose.
I never saw her so mad,
I guess I'll never know.
She even threw the Kitty out,
the one I just brought home.
You know what?
She buried all my clothes,
Where did that Kitty go?
Here Kitty, Kitty
come see Grandma.
