Is this how love really is?
I wonder as I feel your kiss,
Sitting side by side on my bed,
Your arm resting around my head,
Whispering back and forth,
You gently tilting my head north,
Soft and demanding is your mouth,
As you start at my forehead and travel south,
Your thoughts no longer as silently as a single tear,
Pouring your heart out to me with no fear,
Your fingers trailing down my arm,
Sending shivers but causing no visible harm,
My mind is so scrambled,
At times I swear I could have rambled,
Laughing and joking you whisper in my ear,
Something that sounds so pretty and sincere.
