I want to hear you coming,
like the northern lights appearing,
with crackling sound coming from the sky,
not thunder for rain, nor rain for coldness.
I want to see you coming,
like the northern lights with huge,
luminous arc light that lights up the night,
Oh! Come light up my world.
I want to admire your dazzling spectacles,
like the northern lights with brilliant rays of light,
that spread upward in the shape of a fan,
a shape as beautiful as that of snowflake.
I want to enjoy your waddling,
like the northern lights with its flashes,
of giant searchlights moving up and down,
that I will call you "the merry dancer".
I am waiting for a moment,
come show me the arrival sign,
come give me the lightest scene,
come fill me with the loveliest mood.
