The Nurse is the one who gives so much,
She also has such a gentle touch
The Nurse takes the vitals and gives the meds,
And makes sure we're all tucked safe in our beds,
The kindest words you will ever here, for
example, 'How are you feeling today Dear, '
a Smile, a Touch, sometimes a gentle embrace,
There's no-one else who could ever take her
place
The things she does are far from easy,
And that's why we want her to know
We Love Her Dearly, My Nurse
