My Ocean Poem by H.M. Gautsch

My Ocean

For my aim is great,
I have no boundaries,
With this freedom.
Fall for my depth,
Like the deep blue sea.
Learning to surf,
With the waves.
And wash ashore swiftly,
Like the crustaceans,
Who lives in an inquiring world.
Laugh amongst,
The dolphins.
And listen to the songs,
Of the whales.
Expect the unexpected of change.
Set the sails,
Allow the winds to take you.
Trust in the thick blanket of stars,
To be the compass,
And guide you in the mystery,
Of my ocean.
Do you dare to discover,
The treasures and pearls,
That lay peacefully?
Waiting for the captain,
With no strings attached,
Other than the passion he holds,
With an equal blend of apathy,
As I.
