My One Last Cry Poem by Phoenix1 Smith

My One Last Cry

Rating: 4.5

To you I have given endless trust...
through all the times we are apart
countless chance you broke my heart
in all your troubles and weariness still
I do things even all against heavy odds
just to please you and follow your will

you let me see you loving someone else
admiring all about her with eagerness
never have you shown me such fondness
you've even accuse me of being insecure
making me feel bad for showing bitterness

she wrote two poems of sweet love for you
you gladly read it and eagerly said you'll
keep it. will include in your poem collection..
I created numerous long poems for you
I asked if you have read those but you said:
none of it you've read, you're not interested

time and again I've begged you to dedicate
a love song for me, you said no, hesitated
while secretly both of you agreed to ask me
to post a song for her, your dear beloved..

I've cried many times for your being careless
you've abused my forgiving heart and kindness
why with me you have always been insensitive
I do not know now if my heart can still forgive...

I've realized you have never really loved me...
heart left tattered with lying and filthy schemes
you've made the rod that broke the camel's back
of all your betrayals, this one, patience I now lack
to understand you this time I will not even try
I promised myself, that this will be, my one last cry...
