My Only Destination (Sonnet #119) Poem by Tina Rizk

My Only Destination (Sonnet #119)

Hail you soulmate, my heart swears of you
Your heart is my only destination
Such divine love, devotion are known by few
My soul you caress as a breeze from heaven.

The most precious thing to give is our time
To be there, to calm whines, to draw smiles
To embark on the same boat, closely entwined
To weave ropes of hope for life is worthwhile.

We cohabit the same tender heart by fate
You feel me as the soil feels roots of trees
We carry the same blueprint, O soulmate
Only with you did my heart start to breathe.

The world shall still hear echoes of our love
Whispered by red roses in heaven above.
