My Other Half Poem by Jeryn Bean

This simple emotion can both corrupt, and save the soul,
it is a simple one to give, and simpler to receive.
it makes you do funny things,
things you'd never do before.

it may hurt us,
but yet we continue to do it,
fore in doing so, we hope to find our other half,
so that we may be complete, and happy.

and with this, i hope i have found mine,
fore with you i feel so alive,
and oh so happy,
and yet, oh so nervous.

but i have only one wish,
and that is that you feel the same,
and give it a try,
so that we might both be happy.
