My Pain Is Me Poem by Nancy Winter Miranda

My Pain Is Me

Rating: 5.0

My pain is my own.
Here by my own doing.

My pain is me.

Maybe it's to fill a void.
Maybe it's to fill a need.

Maybe the pain is meant to be.

Whatever.

Along the way,
the paths may twist,
be full of angst...

All I know is all I feel....

I will welcome the diversion,
from the pain that won't set me free.

We all live at an acceptable level of 'pain' It seems to define our limited existance.

lol, I like the line... Whatever. It makes it more real without it, the poem may have felt over the top, but with it, it makes it more meaningful and less, its a great way to balance it out. Nice job!
