My Past In My Preset Poem by dishant kumar

My Past In My Preset

Come and stop me,
So that I should not cry.
Or come and kill me,
Before I die.

Alone in my comfortable bed,
I toss and turn and try to sleep.
But thoughts are bulking my head,
And have formed a huge heap.

Under the shadow of my poetic dream,
So silently my thoughts scream,
“I just don’t want to be so alone,
I am falling desperate for some internal smile to be shown.”

My warm tears in this cold winter night,
Say that I need someone to hug me tight,
So tight that I can forget all my pain,
So tight that none of my sadness should remain.

Because my present is ruined by my past,
Old nightmares still seam to last.
My past is flashing its scorching light beams,
Tearing me apart and breaking me at the seams.

So for now someone come,
Come and stop me,
So that I should not cry,
Or come and kill me,
Before I die……..
