My Pathetic Escapism Poem by Sudipta Bhattacharyya

My Pathetic Escapism

The Sun has set long ago.
The brightened rays have gone away;
Being tired with my mundane life
I am staggering into dark room;
The mirror in front of me mocks at me;
The poisonous bed laughs at me;
My dearest Sleep has left me into darkness.
My only companion, my midnight Sky
Will soon come to soothe my grief laden heart.

I wish to flee with my Midnight Sky,
Never want to see this hypocrite world.
