My Pops - Poem by Rosemary Monahan
Today is a sad day for me
Two years have passed by
Time hasn't helped me any
Don't understand why
Why you had to go away
But I guess life just IS that way
No one feels the way I feel for you
No one understands, no one can.
There's no one here to call me Dolly
and there'll never be anyone here
for me to call Pops.
And every time I look at my tattoo
I will always think of the
good times with you.
