My Puppet Master Poem by Ashley Best

My Puppet Master

Seeking to find a light in a dark world.
Giving more yet getting less.

Fighting wars inside my head.
I want to lay down my weapon
Take off my armor
And rest my weary mind.

But the battle rages on,
And I play my role.

You see my puppet master is sadistic
And he says to me with a grin
'these strings are now part of you'
Dangling them from above.

Hopefulness is ignorance.
My soul is darkness.

This show is not for the weak
The new person I have become
She ain't for the faint of men
She'll shread you, from limb to limb.

My master taught me well.
Muahahahahaha. Evil lives here now.
