My Queen My Warrior Poem by Joh Venture

My Queen My Warrior

Rating: 5.0

What I have witnessed shall be put in words,
Who I have met in the forest, who broke my sword,
Her bones are like bars of iron,
Invincible in the jaws of a lion,
Elegant and delicate does seem her skin,
Invisible scars are hers as a warrior she has been,
Here I stand and say to her:

Deck thyself out now with majesty,
Array thyself with glory and beauty.
If you're proud, I myself will bring you low,
If you feel alone, I'll give you my heart amidst the snow.
