My Reflection - Poem by Joan Douglas

As I gaze into the mirror....
All I can see....
Is my reflection...
Staring back at me....

The glass is clear....
With what it sees.....
Just a face framed with hair....
Trying to please....

It would be nice.....
To know what others see....
Without the reflection....
That shows only me....
