My Run-On Sentence Almost Over Poem by Dillian Hansen

My Run-On Sentence Almost Over

Rating: 5.0

With great surprise
There comes a knock
{Tap, tap, tap}
From outside the box

"What do you want"
To witch I replied
Then I heard a voice
It said "I wan't to come inside"

"But you are the beast,
Is this not true"
"If I let you in
What will you do"

"I am the beast"
Is what he said back
"I just want to talk"
"I promise not to attack"

I then tell the beast
"You must let me ponder"
"Let me be free to my mind"
"And wherever it wonders"

The beast then agreed
And said "now may I come in"
I thought for a second
And chose to say nothing

As I think
I slowly loose fear
I did not expect
to confront the beast
While I'm still here~~~~
