My Savior Poem by Michael The ArcAngel

My Savior

I've learned much
But yet remembers so little,
My savior calls but I answereth not,
Clinging to my knowledge and understanding
Which later fails me
So I go to my knees in tears
Calling to my savior, hoping that he is still there,
But I hear him not..

Even when 'i'm' walking through the valley
And these shadows yet hunts me
I shall say his name,
In his silence,
I must still believe that he is working from a distance.

You say keep my friends close
But my enemies closers,
I guess I was way ahead of you on that one,
Cause I eat with my enemy everyday,
For I,
I am my own worse enemy.

He says pray without season
So I to my knees
Then I begin to reason,
Would he ever forgive me.

Come unto me
All ye who are werry
And I will give you rest,
But the weight of this wrecking ball I carry,
Won't let me progress.

His word came to me in the presence of his prophet
And it broke me down,
My heart filled with sadness and regret,
And That's when I heard him.

In his voice,
Voice like a distant thunder flying
through the sky,
Terrifying yet so peaceful,
Or like the cry of a new born baby,
So loud yet most blissful,
And He said 'come '.

Like a cool flame,
Slowly and invisibly burning away my pains,
And I can feel all the walls I put up over the years crumbling,
They are all falling like 'the wall' of Jericho.

And I rise in the midst of my enemies
And i begin to conquer,
As I walk through the valley,
I am walking in the
footsteps of my savior
And these shadows,
These shadows of death,
They have no hold on me, no more, no more
