My Savior - Poem by Patience Matsheba
For the first time I saw you
I knew you were mine
I knew you were my savior
I knew you were perfect for me
but I needed to have a solid proof
All girls I saw you with,
they are not good for you
But I am!
When I look into your eyes,
They remind me where you saved me.
The day that you saved me;
You stole my heart too
but you are not a thief.
You are my savior!
I felt for you
my feelings are for you,
I have seen them boys
Many asked for my heart.
Yet knowing that you would come and rescue me,
I gave no one a green card.
Because I knew that you would come and take my love with you.
