My Sea 2 Poem by Dali Luptak

My Sea 2

What to cry for
when it is so near
the great sea
one big salty tear

What to die for
before our time has come
in front of closed doors
instead of stepping behind

Wave after wave
they're born one by one
mother wind and father moon
making love for fun

Horizon-the mirror
of what we did in past
back there our stories turn
to innocent dust

Sea-the great teacher
of everlasting love
knows all about vanity
and every day's trust

Strange places are calling me
to leave my warmest home
with no turning back
the old roots are torn

We watched the stars fall honey
burning tears of universe
in that peaceful distance
in our hearts of yesterday

Underground we belong
that's where our journey leads
to carry all that cold grey weight
to feel eternal free

This world or the next ones
just a snap between
life's a sweat illusion
sweat for you & me.
