My Second Chance Poem by Reed Dietiker

My Second Chance

My actions would've been the same
Im the problem, Im the reason to blame
You kept saying you'll be gone
And I kept holding on
Please stop there are reasons to live
You're the one, my life to give
Your my mirror reflection
Deep inside, we're hurt with no protection
We put the mask on everyday
We hurt to the bone, in everyway
I dont want anymore lies
They take lives, and lead to suicides
We'll be wearing long sleeves, and long pants
My reason to live, My Second Chance
