My Soul Poem by Brianna Wilshusen

My Soul

It hurts,
The pain.
The guilt deep down,
Trying to feel.
Can they not see it?
How much it hurts me,
I cannot say.
And when I speak.
Or move the right way,
The pain as I fall.
I crumple on down,
It burns me inside,
And slowly my heart.
Begins to tear apart,
Starting to fall away.
Soon I fear to say,
My heart will leave me.
It will leave me alone,
To wallow in bitterness.
Bitterness and dispare,
Clod lonesome fear.
Heartless ghost of past,
My soul faces the end.
