My Soul: An Ellipsis Poem by Hela Tekali

My Soul: An Ellipsis

Neither the sun nor the earth
Woman is the true centre of the universe
A paradigm shift from a circle to an ellipsis
Orbiting the light of my soul creating some glimpses.

Harmonices Mundi is kepler's ancient philosophy
My elliptical soul having the structure of a point in actuality
Self -luminous reflecting its power on my mind
Rotating around my body and wobbling in a way so kind.

Neither the Sun, nor the Earth
A soul revolving around in an elliptical mirth
Joined together, with my human face
My soul and my femininity, the source of my new grace.

Copernicus theory, the sun as the centre of the universe
I am that inner space, that governs my astral verse
I am each time reborn, and I am each time dying
My cradle is my self, and my infinity my new being.

Two streams: where the circle and the ellipsis meet
The centre of my soul as the place where they merge and greet
My elliptical soul is the Center where they take existence
Ellipsis and Circle are the sources of my feminine essence.

The laws of my soul perceive all external elements
Pouring forth from the nebular of my heart
Its luminous firmaments
From Kepler's planetary motion all takes birth
In my elliptical verse, even time celebrates its mirth.

My soul an ellipsis where time and thoughts both fully fuse
Encircling the paradigm shift of my soul and its circular muse
All outer and astronomical spaces converge
For my inner spectrum is the inter- stellar nebular where they merge.

The point of intersection is the center of my soul
The structure of my atoms split into planets and galaxies forming a whole
All can be seen even the remote and far away stars
My soul: an ellipsis recollecting the former bruises of my broken scars.

I saw it all with my All Seeing Eye
Where the truest theory of Astronomy lies
Converging all into the ecstatic unity of my soul
A feeling of ecstasy coming together in the soul.
