My Soulmate Poem by Yehualashet Teshome

My Soulmate

Tried the women I met
For size
Looking for my soulmate
The other half of myself
In vain
Nobody seemed to fit
In this game of hide and seek
We agreed to play on this planet
While we were in unity, complete harmony
In another dimension
No, I am not stressed
I am not unhappy
It was just a game
Of hide and seek
Souls play to amuse themselves
When the game is over
And when we meet again
We will laugh our heads off
Telling the story
How funny it was
To play human
The game of hide and seek
To find the soulmate
True love
