For the deceit
For the illusion that I lived
For the maya
I believed was true
And yet void
Strolling in the dark
A mere deception
Life has mocked me
Took pleasure in my misery
A cruel joke
I want justice
Or at least an apology
From life
Life has mocked me Took pleasure in my misery A cruel joke
Life owes me an apology, & sometimes it does, does a memory fade in black & blue.....
For the illusion that I lived For the maya I believed was true And yet void Strolling in the dark A mere deception Life has mocked me no not at all you have not yet read MOMS SMILES DO SO U'LL LOVE LIFE

'Life has mocked me Took pleasure in my misery A cruel joke I want justice Or at least an apology From life' - A very strong statement. Loved your poem. Heartiest congratulations on the poem's selection as the 'Member Poem of the Day'!
For the deceit For the illusion that I lived For the maya I believed was true And yet void /// your word " maya" builds a path everywhere where every raw minded people falls in a trap; it's delusional fact of life; every unknown to the self thinks that s/he is right in own planning of life but in the midway finds nothing without great deception; yes; your poem narrates this theme is very stupendously; congrats for being selected this poem as POD....and from me 5*****

If " Life" itself is responsible for your misery, unfortunately I can't see you getting that apology. We all have to be responsible in some way for the choices we make in life. They don't always work out for the best but then we move on and try again and try not to make the same mistakes in our judgement. Your life is in your hands. Improvements are made by personal choices. A wonderful poem, I wish you all the very best and congratulations on Poem Of The Day
