My Storm - Poem by Andrea Maree Smith

The angry sea
is like the storm inside me
Tossing and Turning
Watching and Waiting
For the pain to subside.

The storms of my life
are filled with...
My sadness and pain
My cries and tears.

The pain will subside
When we turn our love
to god.
Our lives to God.
