My Tempestuous Heart Poem by Tina Stokes

My Tempestuous Heart

Rating: 3.0

If love can holdeth dear and true
I'm sure my heart hath found in you
A love so pure, unspoilt, unjust
That cherubs gather at its cusp
And when thy seek to find such love
I'm sure to meet it in thy eyes
For tears are often falling so
With memories from long ago.
My Eden he doth please me now
for like no other I have known
Can handle such tempestuous heart
and calm it with ones gracious touch.
Thy touch can steal me from thou depths and show me that love can be fair
and taketh you have rescued me and shown me what it is to care.
