My Type 11 Diabetes Adult On-Set's Point Systems. Poem by Roxanne Dubarry

My Type 11 Diabetes Adult On-Set's Point Systems.

To make myself perfectly understood,
I also use a point system to manage
my weight as well.

I highly recommend using the system
right for you. Or you can always use
mine. It is not copyrighted.

I use a handmade chart. I mention the date.
than I us B/S to mean blood sugar
for seven, fourteen, and thirty day average.
The next column is used for my actual
readings. Lets say 165 for example.
The next column is for the averages.
Than I have a weight column. Than an
average column. (Which I need to use)
The last column is my comment column

Lets say 170 points is lesser than 160 points.
I would say 170 is greater than 160. I would
use the less than symbol, B/S down by ten
points. Using the upside down arrow mark.
I would do the same for my weight.
Regardless of what the point's systems
averages and numbers are.I always
thank say something like (PBTL)Praise be
the Lord A-men.

I use up and down arrows for my averages,
and levels. for example if my seven
day average was in the 160's-170's
and above. And my fourteen day average
was in the 180's or above. And finally
if my blood glucose monitor registered.
For my 30's day average.170'-180's.

If my averages were lower, I would use
a down pointing arrow. If my averages
were higher I would use the up pointing
arrow. My averages vary. If they were
the same for two or more times. I would use,
(2X)to mean two or more times.

Which range is considered normal?
80-130 is what the physicians now
consider normal. It has slightly
changed throughout the years.

I use a star * for my normal
targeted range. Whereas I use
a check mark to mean okay.
The range is from 131-141.
It means even though it is not
in the targeted range.

I usually do not worry about
the check mark points. But
I become increasingly aware.

The circle represents the in-
between range. The lower the
point the better my evaluation.
142-179. The range mark of the
149's- 150's is not desirable.
But I start to think.

What do I actually want my
blood sugar point system
to do go up. I use the
greater than mark.

Going down, I use the lesser
than mark.Naturally
the lesser than mark
is usually always desirable.
At least it is for me.

My blood sugar was 220 when I woke
up this morning. I took my medication,
and ate a bowel of Toasty Oats. And
unsweetened Almond beverage.

When I tested my blood sugar again.
It was 86. After my fasting my blood
sugar dropped about 194 points!
That is a major dropping! And no,
I do not want it to go any lower.

The blood sugar level in the 160'a
and 170'a is not in the least
desirable.It does not take much
in this phase. To go up to the
danger zone.

My beginning levels were at first
over the 200 mark. It has changed
from 190's down to the 180's.
Now it is any thing over 179!
I use an upside down triangle figure
for the danger zone.

I use a (2x) If a number repeats itself
two or more times. It lets me know
that the current level is being
maintained. For good or bad or
in-between.

My AIC last time was 7.5 (It means it is
starting to look dangerous!) The previous
time it was 6.5.The time before that
it was 6.3.I need to keep my AIC out
of the 170's and middle 160's.163 is
a pretty good range.

I was diagnosed with diabetes in 1998.
Some people get better and their
blood sugar levels are normal.

Others get worse and go on insulin.
By the grace and the abundant mercy
of Jesus Christ. My blood sugar's
AIC will dramatically improve!

If you are diabetic, or prediabetic.
If it runs in your family. Some
medications can either lower or
raise your blood sugar. Consult
your family doctor.

And I highly recommend taking your
problem to the original and greatest
physician, Jesus Christ!

Love in Christ Jesus!
