My Venom Poem by Joseph Bernal

My Venom

My nightmares still haunt me
They all scream at me like a banshee
They're poison to my mind
And constantly keeps me confined

Falling in an endless hole
Swallowing me whole
But I swat it aside
Rebuilding my pride

Feeding the flame
Beyond of which they can contain
Spreading out of control
Taking back everything it stole
