My Village Poem by Isabella Rojas

My Village

The sun and the moon keep dancing as two lovers
While the birds sing tl announce a new day.
Fresh coffee fills up my nose to keep me awake.

Me and my cousins playing on the tree leaves
The wind whispers secrets to my ear
This is my home, I never want to leave.
