My Wife Poem by Marthinus Carstens

My Wife

I felt Lost, I felt alone.
Nights where cold, Nights where long.

That was till my eyes met yours,
The first day I met you was like gazing upon the face of an Angel.
Time flew as I listen to your soul.

It was meant to be, fate brought us together.
That day I found my hart, my reason to be.

Time flew by spending it with you.
But STOP the day you said I DO.

The day has come
My hart stop as I saw you, all in white Smiling at me
I remember I had to stop, stop myself from crying
Tears of joy.
Tears of happiness.
I remember the feeling; feeling of this is where I belong.

Now you are my Wife,
My Life,
My reason to be.

You bring me happiness, you make me smile, and you even laugh when I’m a clown.

Sometimes you are mad,
Sometimes you are blue,
But whatever you do, will never change the way I feel about you.

No more lost, No more alone.
Nights are warm, Nights are short.
All thanks to you.

You are my Wife, My Life
…………. Wow you’re my Wife.
