It's so dark
The sun doesn't shine
Not here
In this world of mine

You can't see the smile
I never show
It's buried inside
Underneath the woe

The tears fall
Tears of blood
They turn this dirt
To the darkest mud

A river forms
At my feet
This is where my blood
And the Earth meet

I cry out
But no one is here
I'm all alone
Living my greatest fear

Someone take my hand
And pull me back
Out of my world
Out of the black

I need some help
I cannot lie
Someone save me
Before I die

I see your hand
But you're out of reach
Try and stretch further
My soul has been breached

Save me now
Free my soul
Pull me from
This bottomless hole

My world had shattered
Fallen apart
But you have saved me
Time for a new start

In this world
Where the sun does shine
I will leave behind
That world of mine
