First it was just me and your mom
Enjoying each other's company
One thing led to another and another to many
I guess your time had arrived
When i first heard your heartbeat
I knew my life wasn't mine anymore
I had to prepare for your arrival
Excited i was and scared at the same time
Am i ready for this, i asked myself
God wouldn't give me a task i cannot handle
Then you came, your first cry
First time to hold you in my arms
You looked into my eyes like you knew who i was
That was the most incredible moment of my life
The bond we shared that day made me stronger
So much love i knew i had to give
That i've nevèr felt for one person
We blessed to have you in our lives
