My Worst Mistake Poem by Crystal Hayes

My Worst Mistake

I watch you walk over to me
No, more like glide
Perfection is what I see
That’s what you put in my mind
Why am I so attached to you
Even though you treat me wrong
I come running back to you
It’s like a sad, lonely song.
That seems to never end
No matter how hard I try not to listen
But the sad music you send
Get’s Me to think of what I’m missing
You used to not be like this
You used to be so sweet
You would take away my pain with a kiss
That moment I just wanted to keep
But now you’ve changed
You’ve changed into the haunted
Love can’t be arranged
My mistakes have been taunted
I’ve chose the wrong choice
I never got the clue
In the tone of your voice
My worst mistake is loving you…
