Mystery Poem by Shelby Jasmin Estrada

Mystery

Rating: 2.7

Sun sets just behind the Blue Mountains
Creating pinks and oranges painted in the sky
As the sky turns darker, tides flow in and out more rapidly
Trees blow fiercer in the wind
Birds fly past a curious cat meowing at the door of a dark mysterious house
The door creaks open, pitch black
There is no sign of movement in the doorway
After the cat is in the house, the door closes the same way it opened; silently and slowly
