Dark Sands - Poem by Shelby Jasmin Estrada

Dark sand running through my fingers
Like water dripping from the leaves of a palm tree
Smooth and rushing
This dark sand
Like the stars in the sky
Shining with every movement
The dark sands of a beach far away
Rushing in the oceans waters

The imagery portrayed is just splendid that depicts the
melancholic and alarming feeling of frightfulness of
    losing something........a beautiful poem....10
