Mystery of the ark of covenant,
Enshrined in tales of ancient lore and might,
A sacred vessel on which faith was bent,
Its power shrouded in a veil of night.
Mystery of the ark of covenant,
Beneath the wings of cherubim lay,
A symbol of God's covenant with man,
A presence felt, yet hidden from display.
Mystery of the ark of covenant,
A sacred mystery, beyond our span.
Inscribed with laws, the tablets of stone,
A testament to justice and command.
Mystery of the ark of covenant,
The voice of God, a guide for the unknown,
To lead His people to a promised land,
But where does it now rest, this ancient ark?
Mystery of the ark of covenant,
Lost to time, its whereabouts unknown,
Its secrets kept, a mystery so stark,
A treasure sought, but never shown.
Mystery of the ark of covenant,
Oh mystery of the ark of covenant,
A symbol of faith,
And grace forever dormant.
