Mystical Loch Poem by Jim O'Donnell

Mystical Loch

A monster stirs in the water so deep
And keep out of sight from the people who seek
He knows of these people who come from afar
In train planes boats and motorcars

Once in a while he pope up his head
To show all these people that he is not dead
A camera it flashes makes front page news
The monster returns from the water so blue

Tourist are coming they stand on the shore
You can’t see the bank because there are cameras galore
Flashing and chatting what will they see?
Probably a floating dead trunk of a tree

Loch Ness is twenty miles and more
From the tip of its mouth to its far distant shore
The mystery beneath it will never unveil
Or is this just another mystical tail
