I was doing really fine, actually great,
no longer having to endure the long wait.
Days and weeks were going smoothly,
unbelievably, I was genuinely happy.
Doing this and that, all for fun and joy,
knowing I was no longer troubled by this boy.
But one day came and my mind started to rain,
I was back to square 1 with just hearing your name.
