National Flag Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

National Flag

Normally, it's tedious
And mind-numbing
But, what a pride to serve!
Serve with patriotic flavour
A pleasure and satisfaction
An honour and high opinion
Calling all rides and flights
At the inter-national boarders
Ready for supreme sacrifice
On behest of notorious reasons
For the eyes shining so bright
Looking, as to who wants
Wants to be the next, each time
Where someone is missing
Missing every now and then
Receiving final guard of honour
Salute and tribute for a cause
Rapped in its national flag...
Eyes shed tears worldwide
Where do YOU live? O' my God!
