Nature Across America

From Alaska's mountains, crowned with snow,
Where northern lights in splendor glow,
To Florida's shores of sunlit blue,
The wild heart of America beats true.

The Rockies rise, majestic and high,
Their pine trees reaching for the sky.
The Grand Canyon burns in golden light,
Carved by time through day and night.

Across the Plains, the grasses wave,
Beneath the winds so wild and brave.
The Mississippi rolls along,
A silver river, deep and strong.

In New England, autumn leaves blaze bright,
Red and gold in fading light.
California's redwoods, tall and grand,
Stand like giants across the land.

From desert dunes to mountain streams,
From rushing falls to woodland dreams,
America's wild and open space
Still holds the earth's enduring grace.

So guard each forest, field, and shore,
Protect the creatures we adore.
For nature's beauty, wild and free,
Is part of what our home can be.
