Nature Calling Poem by derrick foster

Nature Calling

Today I saw the birds and bees and flowers and trees (funny)
Theoretically, I subconsciously understand
But in my innocence as a novice, I am limited
In this near virgin state, I am titillated and curious (but don't touch)
I could go off and we don't want that (too soon)
In nature there is freedom for experiment
In life, there are rules, preferences and desires
Watching nature astounds and shocks and surprises.
The abandon of a bee displays while pollinating the flower is amazing
The bold erect flower presents its stamina without care
Meanwhile, humans make a big deal out of something so natural
(Is it any wonder I want to keep my innocence) ?
Sexuality is expansive not exclusive.
Once this is realized, one can explore without limits
Though there should be lest unwanted pregnancy and violence run rampant
A little self -control is then necessary
Draw a bit of restraint. It should be special. (Why rush it)
Desire in the minds and hands of many can go awry
Given the right amount of constraint, one can have a real good time
Just observe the birds, flowers and bees in the trees
