Nature Of Loving Poem by Eric Wayne Adams

Nature Of Loving

Rating: 5.0

Stars wink,
The moon blinks,
As if a million are after one,
So was I, the star.

The leaves tap and bend, singing fall's chorus,
The trees, holding and protecting them.
Holding on to each other tightly
that nature would not separate them
So was I, the tree.

The sun,
Always faithful to the whole,
Warming the coldest,
Nurturing the warmest,
Made to always be,
Valiant and beautiful,
Trustworthy and dependable,
Strong and everlasting,
So was I, the sun

Chapters close, new ones begin,
In the end is heaven,
Beautiful and unimaginable,
Immense and holy,
Bright, calm, quiet, secure...
So were you, heaven.

For my love spins out of control,
It lives as naturally as it can,
For the stars, the earth, the sun cannot compare,
From heaven you're sent, loving and protecting I'll be
To heaven I owe.
