Natures Song Poem by Jonah Street

Natures Song

The moon glistens behind me
As the gentle autumn breeze brushes my knee
Birds sing their song of two
While the sky fils with all shades of blue.

Owls whistle goodnight as the sun to say hello
While nature awakens, mans head is still deep in its pillow
Two cockerels greet from far away
I hear them both, right from where I lay

Morning mist begins to clear
The sun breaking through the clouds is almost near
The tallest trees turn from black to green
Because the light is far from mean

The sky is clear
And the big ball of red begins to draw near
Birds fly far towards its might
Its constant rising is more than just a sight

Its perfect dome rises ever so quick
The strength of its might is a thing of beauty, its official
It's beauty will forever stick
For at this moment, everything is simple
