Nebulous Gen Z ~ Dr. H S Swadhin Kumar Pal Poem by Dr. H S Swadhin Kumar Pal

Nebulous Gen Z ~ Dr. H S Swadhin Kumar Pal

Nebulous skies surround the youth in a restless land,
Where careers seem hidden behind a doubtful door,
And dreams lose direction beneath uncertain light;
The future slips quietly from every hopeful hand,
While choices become burdens they cannot ignore,
And questions keep wandering through the sleepless night.

Education changes, yet careers remain unclear,
New courses arise, but employment stays far,
Financial storms make every decision hard;
The graduate walks forward carrying silent fear,
Searching for purpose beneath a distant star,
While empty promises leave the hopeful scar.

Some voices of truth are silenced when they speak,
And youths may face custody for questioning wrong,
While constitutional rights are debated anew;
Amendments may reshape what the citizens seek,
Yet courage survives when conviction remains strong,
For justice must belong to the many, not a few.

Fear of autocracy darkens the public air,
Cruelty toward job-seeking youth wounds every dream,
The helpless stand waiting for dignity and work;
But truth must be spoken with courage and care,
And reason must challenge every oppressive scheme,
For silence cannot make injustice cease to irk.

O Youth, be straightforward in action and aim,
Let wisdom unite you, not anger or hate,
Turn every grievance toward justice and right;
When every peaceful plea seems rejected in shame,
Let united civic courage reshape your fate,
And let lawful, fiery conviction become your light.

Let wit be the witness that history shall keep,
For generations will judge what we choose to do,
To protect goodness, security, nature, and peace;
Though many live only for today and rarely weep,
Tomorrow remembers the minds that remained true,
And praises those who built an amicable world of peace.
