Need

I waited for you while you were in the shower
I fell asleep thinking you would over power
I woke up at midnight with lot of pain
I touched you like an insane…
You looked as innocent as an angel
Your enticing body craving like a mackerel…

A streak of light peeped from our window
You looked so pale and thin on that pillow
I then touched those bare arms
They were listless
I took them in mine, but you turned that side
I wondered by my shadow that beckoned
I wanted love and nothing else I reckoned.

Restless and ignited I decided to let go
My body was like my alter ego
Probably we slept in spite of all
I don’t remember if I had a shawl
Next day we both woke up naked
I couldn’t find my diamond earring
How did it get stuck to your chest hair?
Did we make love after all?
