Need To Vent Poem by art kuttler

Need To Vent

vent
sometimes i need to vent
the fact I'll always have to pay rent,
or tools
Iv lent that are never returned,
the telemarketer that calls when i sit down to eat,
when the freezer brakes down and I'm left
with rotting meat
not to mention the blisters on my feet,
of course theres the summer heat
and the house and how much
that will cost to heat when winter comes,
people that are dumb Iv come across some
don't get me started on the price of gas
it just makes me want to kick someones a$$,
the fact that I have to pee in a cup to keep my job
while theres people on welfare smoking crack
while I pay their tax,
so tell me just who do I need to smack,
did I tell you about this pain in my back or the fact
that Iv lost time with my kids I'll never get back,
it doesn't bother me our next president
might be black it's lost time & my taxes I want back,
I don't need to go on a diet I can't afford to eat
and with this job of mine I can't even sleep,
they ask me to vote but how do I choose when all they give
me is a bunch of lier's in fancy suit's,
to vent feels just fine but Iv got to leave this all behind
it's just a wast of
time.
