Needle's Letter To Mr. Snodgrass Poem by thomas mofford

Needle's Letter To Mr. Snodgrass

Rating: 0.5

Let me alone!
Out of nowhere you come
expecting me to be here!

I get sick
from your pick
of food.
Let me join my friends
the ants
and chew on the dewgrass.

I am a poet
and enjoy my guides
the stars,
lights that show me the way
when you escpe.

Entrancer interfers with
dreams,
stale sandwiches give me
bellyaches.

Noises of the jail
make me commit crimes
in the mind
in your name.

Don a mask at Halloween!
Become an instant hero!
Last an instant!
Notice the strangers?

Stand up for me!
Be strong!
Lollypoplove,
come along sometime
when you have
something else
to do!
